The TASSCARRERA 2024 is here in its 4th edition!

The TASSCARRERA has two main objectives:

1. To engage our community in Brisbane and surrounding areas with a day of running or walking distances of 5 or 10 km, depending on each person’s level.
2. To include people of all ages, genders, and abilities, allowing everyone to enjoy the event at their own pace, supported by fellow participants. The course is suitable for strollers, bicycles, scooters, and pets.

The venue and course are accessible to everyone and can be easily reached by public transport (Holman Street Ferry Terminal) or by bike paths.

These objectives promote walking, the use of public and sustainable transport, and encourage families to engage in physical activities together as part of a healthy routine.

EVENT AGENDA

8.30am: Meet at Captain Burke Park (Holman Street ferry terminal), 117A Holman St, Kangaroo Point QLD 4169, check-in, collection of bibs (donated by Mac´s Labels) and welcoming pack.

9.10am: Guided warm-up by Irela Aqua and Fitness.

9.30am: The walk and run begin with the 10km, followed by the 5km. They will begin to 2 minutes apart, to maintain a safe distance. Choose your pace and enjoy it with your friends and/or family.

The route consists of a straight 2.5km / 5km one-way along the river, with views of some of the most iconic spots in Brisbane. It’s also suitable for pets, which are more than welcome (as long as they are leashed and kept no more than one meter away from their owner).

10.30am: Coffee and breakfast, by Big Latin Flavours for all registered participants at the finish line.

11:30am: Raffle of products and services donated by our sponsors, using race bib numbers.

12.00pm: End of the event.
