The Latin Choir Brisbane

The Latin Choir Brisbane is a community choir that sprouted in 2020 from the need in the community of people from Latin America to stay connected to aspects of their culture such as music, dance, food, modes of socialisation, and celebration of iconic calendar festivities.

We deeply value the diversity and intercultural exchange that this choir provides, not only for the Latin American community but also for the people living in Australia from diverse backgrounds who are joining and enjoying singing in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.

We care for our community, our connection to our origins and ancestors, as much as the land and people that have received us in Australia.

Our mission is to foster a sense of belonging and celebration across diverse Latin cultural backgrounds, through the power of music, to contribute to the multicultural landscape of Australia.
